DESCRIPTION:

Step into the vibrant world of Armenian ceramics, one of Jerusalem’s most beloved and enduring artistic traditions. In this workshop, you’ll work alongside master Armenian artisans to explore the origins, stories, and techniques behind the city’s iconic hand-painted tiles and pottery.

Participants will learn the basics of sketching traditional motifs, and applying the distinctive colors and patterns that define this artform. From floral vines to sacred symbols, every design carries meaning. By the end, you’ll create and paint your own ceramic tile or plate—an expression of heritage to take home.
