DESCRIPTION:
Step into the vibrant world of Armenian ceramics, one of Jerusalem’s most beloved and enduring artistic traditions. In this workshop, you’ll work alongside master Armenian artisans to explore the origins, stories, and techniques behind the city’s iconic hand-painted tiles and pottery.
Participants will learn the basics of sketching traditional motifs, and applying the distinctive colors and patterns that define this artform. From floral vines to sacred symbols, every design carries meaning. By the end, you’ll create and paint your own ceramic tile or plate—an expression of heritage to take home.

All materials and tools (clay, brushes, pigments, glazes)

Firing of your ceramic piece and pickup (or delivery option)
DON’T FORGET:

Aprons are provided, but wear something you don’t mind getting a little dusty

Your finished piece will need to be fired—please allow 3–5 days for collection

Children aged 10+ are welcome with adult supervision
